Gretl Frank was bought to Australia in September 1941 with her German parents who were residents in Palestine (a British Protectorate at the end of WW1). Temple society members. Made and used by internee at Camp 3Rectangle green, tan, grey and black striped drill material bag. Drawstring top with white cord. Leather straps to go over shoulders to create a back pack. Self coloured pocket with strap and cutton fastner on front.
