The bowl is decorated with a blue transfer print of a bird in reeds. The lid is decorated with the image of two birds sitting on a fence. On the underside of the bowl is the hallmark for Brown Westhead and Moore (BWM & Co) in Staffordshire, England about 1870. The pattern name is Canova. Small information book issued to boy scouts attending the Pan-Pacific Jamboree at Greystanes, Sydney in December 1952 & January 1953. The light brown cover has a drawing of a boy scout, the Jamboree logo and some musical notes all in medium blue. It contains songs, shanties, rounds and hymns including a Jamboree Song written for the occasion. This copy belonged to John MAY, a member of the 2nd Port Melbourne Boy Scout Troop.
