The old Box Hill Metropolitan Fire Brigade in Watts Street. Eight uninformed men standing and sitting on the fire cart and two uniformed men standing beside the horse-drawn cart, in front of the Fire Brigade building (a brick front and weatherboard-sided building). The Box Hill Fire Brigade opened in 1893 and closed on 17 October 1935 at the Watts Street, Box Hill address. The Brigade was relocated to the corner of Whitehorse Road and Linsley Street, Box Hill.
