The corkscrew was discovered in a box with a 1906 newspaper article concerning the Victoria Police Museum and its collection. In it Inspector Cawsey speaks of the corkscrew as being the same given to him by convicted serial killer Frederick Deeming in 1892.Metal corkscrew on turned wooden handle.
