Awarded by Mrs J.C. Corbett's aunt married a son of James Scott.Bronze coloured medal raised in relief - set in illuminated cardboard certificate glued on wooden back board with brown paper backing. Awarded to James Scott, Nurseryman, Hawthorn. Designed and printed and hand finished by W. Calvert 89 Little Collins St. East, Melbourne. Sculpted by C. Summers. Printed on the illuminated certificate are the Royal Standard of United Kingdom and Victorian coat of arms. QUALEM DECET ESSE SORORUM, with pictured classical ladies grouped in the relief. Certificate surrounding the metal relief contains much printed explanation of the exhibition. Opened by his excellence Sir J. H. T.
