St. Mary's Church of England is adjacent to the Rose Garden. Alister Clark, a former Bulla resident and a rosarian, developed many different species of roses at his Glenara property. The garden in Bulla has been erected in his memory.Alister Clark developed many rose varieties that could withstand Australia's climate.
