Centenary Bridge, Port Melbourne was built in 1934 for Victoria's Centennial. it was an unusual three-way bridge, styled to complement the great ocean liners as a fitting gateway to the state and fitting gateway to Victoria. Although Eastern Kiosk at Station Pier, Port Melbourne was a tiny shop, it was the first in Melbourne to sell Coca Cola at the request of visiting U.S. soldiers during WW2. Port Melbourne's Mission to Seamen building was designed in the Modern style by Architect Harry Norris. Built in 1937 and later classified by the National Trust, it was designed as entertainment & spiritual centre for visiting sailors.
