He then transfered to the 59th Batt AIF. In the field he was hospitalised with Broncho Pneumonia and passed away on 31.12.1916. Refer 782.2, 786P.The outer brown frame has very fine markings in small circle arrangements. The centre photo has a frame edge with a flowing ribbon across the top. The centre photo itself is 100mm wide x 150mm high.
