The yellow ivy leaf with P.S.S. embroidered in blue is the Immediate Past State Superintendent emblem. Joyce was the General Receiver in 1951 and the Past General Receiver emblem is crossed keys on the dark background. The gold metal star is a Second Degree star and the cross the Third Degree cross. In 1956 Joyce was the Sunday School and Youth Field Secretary for the MGC.Scarlet velvet 10 cm wide sash with 1.25 white border edged with gold braid and a gold metallic fringe. There were three sections: Junior Rays, 8 - 11 years; Senior Rays, 11 - 15 years and Comrades, 15 years and over. The aims of the MGC was to "challenge young people with the saving power of Jesus Christ and provide avenues of christian service" and "to provide for the spiritual, social, physical and educational welfare of the members". The MGC's motto was "The Utmost for the Highest".Two cream coloured charters with blue and gold print and handwritten information.
