Black and white photograph. Duplicate of item no. 217. There seems to be a contradiction of dates, but the photographs are identical. Photograph appears to be taken from a newspaper due to its poor quality.Written on backing sheet, "Bought to make the Golden Jubilee of the Methodist Church in Ringwood 1929. Situated in Station St. now part of the R.S.L. Hall." and Black and white photograph of building with 'Jubilee Hall' written on the front of the building. Picket fence at front with two ladies standing in front of building. Photograph appears to be taken from a newspaper photograph as it is comprised of dots.

Chair donated to Melbourne City Mission (probably in 1941) by Mrs RODDA of Williamstown and used at the Port Branch (Jubilee Hall) until its closure . From the 1950s it was used by Sister Norma BARNETT, who kept it until her death. It then went to her 'sister' Janne RAY, and on her death to Janne's daughter Tracey RAY. She donated this plus related items to PMHPS in 2017 (refer 1506 and 3906).01 - solid wooden chair with peaked/pointed shaped back. Arms have rounded ends. The Ballarat School of Mines had a 'Model Mine' that was used to teach students. Practical work was undertaken for a fee, supervised by laboratory superintendents. Copies of assays undertaken are compiled together in this book. Leatherbound ledger with transfer copies assay reports from the Ballarat School of Mines. The Linton Methodist Church held its Jubilee at Easter 1910. This was to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the church in Linton.
