He majored in Woodcraft under the tuition of Vic Wood.Turned Huon Pine bowl with sterling silver 'leaves'. Lisa Higgins was a student at the Gippsland campus who passed away whilst undertaking her studies. Her family commenced an award in her memory for the best Honours student.
