A school at Mannibadar opened in 1929, this building eventually became the supper room at the Mannibadar Hall. Mannibadar State School first began in 1929 in a room at the local hall. In 1938 the building from the closed school at Canico Flat was transported to a site at Mannibadar purchased from W.
