Embarked for Egypt 22.12.1914, embarked for Gallipoli 30.4.1915, transferred to 3rd FAB 6.9.1915. Hospitalised with Jaundice serious enough to be transferred to Malta then England, returned to unit 10.3.1916. Transferred to 12th FAB 26.3.1916 then to 4th Div AHQ 31.3.1916. This item was donated by Lt Col Ivan Rupert Wilson Brumfield (2507) who served with the Royal Australian Infantry Corps. He served in Vietnam with the 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment from June 1965 to December 1965.
