The Grey-headed Woodpecker is a medium-sized woodpecker of the Picidae family, that is sometimes mistaken for the similar-looking Green Woodpecker. The species is known to have a grey face, neck, and underparts, with green wings and back, and underwing feathers that are a dark brown to dark grey-black with white dots.
