Councilor R.L.Medwell was elected to council in 1910 serving until 1919.He was appointed Shire President in 1917-18. In 1912 Mr. R.L.Medwell was a valuable member of the Learmonth ANA Branch No 75.He also served on the Ballarat Shire Council and was elected in 1910 serving until 1919 and was Shire President in 1917-18.
