1. Wooden frame, deep construction, quite ornate. Originally gold paint on inside trim next to photo. Glass in front. Rear has lots of brown paper missing. The frame has a screw ring on each side for hanging.
2. Portrait. Black and white showing an Australian soldier with peaked cap. He is wearing a great coat. On his right epaulette is the word 'Australia' plus a metal badge with roman numerals - half obscured.
