A pictorial history of Australia by Charles Henry Kerry[1858-1928] Kerry was a surveyor but changed to photography in 1875 using dry plate photography [a new process then] he was able to delay processing his negatives. Pietro Lucini owned the building on the right in the attached photograph. He operated a general store here prior to building a new building opposite this site. He was involved in gold mining activities in the early settlement of Spring Creek, now known as Hepburn Springs. Dr Francesco operated a store in building on left. The Clydesdale War Memorial is an obelisk situated in the Clydesdale State Shool grounds (now the Clydesdale Hall). The 150th anniversary of the Clydesdale State School/Hall was celecbrated in 2017. A number of colour photograph of a sandstone building that was built of local stone as the Clydesdale State School (SS900).
