... ...Nurses Registration Act 1923...Act requires a yearly fee of two shillings and sixpence each December and that a metal badge may be purchased at the cost of three shillings and sixpence and woven badges to wear on caps may be supplied at one shilling per dozen. The regulations are strict and there is no reminder of payment due, and if it is missed, then the nurses name will be removed from the register and only reinstated after a satisfactory explanation and then a fee cost of five shillings. The circular is signed by A.E. Broomhall, Registrar.
