Sachets of Paludrine anti-malaria tablets issued to servicemen in Vietnam in 1967. because Malaria was so prevalent, Paludrine tablets were taken daily, often at supervised "Paludrine parades" to ensure compliance. Due to cases of chloroquine-resistant malaria, the army introduced a combination of 200mg Paludrine plus 25mg Dapsone daily, which proved highly effective.
