This booklet is a compilation by Carrol Preston, of photos and articles in various publications, principally the Snowy River Mail (published in Orbost). These articles relate to the loss of two Orbost young men, Simon Bommer aged 25, and Peter Savoury 27. On the 10 September 1967, these young men were last seen in a small boat at the Snowy River entrance, and were never seen again.This booklet is significant because is records most of the printed reports from 1967 of the deaths of two young men from the Orbost district who were lost in a boating accident near the mouth of the Snowy River. Spiral bound booklet. Front cover has a blue background which is actually a colour photo of the sky and estuary at Marlo. The faces of two males are at the top of the cover, both in oval shapes.
