Ashbolt has been a regular finalist at the Nillumbik Prize Contemporary Art and in 2009 was awarded the Prize for the video drawing 'Wet Feet Under the Pier'. Ashbolt is a inter-disciplinary artist whose practice ranges from photography and printmaking through to filmmaking and collaborative performance projects.
