The Marysville-Woods Point Road was originally part of the Yarra Track, constructed in the early 1860s to provide access between Healesville and the Woods Point Goldfields. Despite the steep terrain and engineering difficulties, the Yarra Track soon became a busy route used by pack horses, horse-drawn drays, and wagons. Program for the opening recital of the reconstructed grand organ in the St Kilda Town Hall on 3 December 1961. The organ was played by the City Organist, R.E.V. Church, and the Organist at St Mary's Church, Caulfield, Harold A. Rooskby. Includes details of the organ, history and photographs. The musical portion of the service was led by the United Choirs and Orchestra I conducted by Mr E Bright. At 9 August 1925 Cr Benjamin Abbey was the Mayor of the Town of Warrnambool. The service consisted of hymns, prayers, anthems, a lesson, an address and benediction with a official opening.
