This bookmark from South Australia is believed to date to the 1940s.The TPI Association was formed in 1926 and had become a national body by 1941 at about which time this bookmark is believed to date to. It was formed by a group of disabled veterans to provide welfare, advice and benefits. The association aimed to support veterans who had come home with a disability and those who needed further medical treatment or long periods of rehabilitation.
