VIOSH accepts people into the Graduate Diploma of Occupational Hazard Management who have no undergraduate degree - on the basis of extensive work experience and knowledge. Year Book produced by the students of the first Intake for Graduate Diploma in Occupational Hazard Management. This was at the Ballarat College of Advanced Education, Mount Helen Campus in 1979-1980. It includes an article printed in The Courier, 29 June 1979 about the visit of American Professor David Klein of Michigan State University. He comments on the quality of the course and high standards of the students. stated there was nothing like this in America.
