This photograph is part of the Jessie Partington Angus collection. Jessie is possibly in the choir. She was in the Melbourne Philharmonic between the ages of 20 to 30. This photograph was taken at one of the receptions for Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip during the royal tour of 1954.Jessie Angus was a well known and long time choir member in the Diamond Valley. She also sang at various 'royal' occasions as documented in the collection.Colour photograph, matte finish.
