The RSL Hall was in Clyde Street, Linton, where the Telstra building now stands. The hall was demolished in the 1990s after the opening of the new recreation reserve hall.Small black and white photograph shows a group of hatless men standing to attention at left and a group of mostly children and women seated and standing to right. Four men standing next to the hall in the centre of the photograph appear to be officiating the ceremony. The flag is flying at half-mast. From 1898 until the 1940s, the 'Grenville Standard' newspaper building was located approximately where the Telstra building is. The RSL hall was afterwards on this site, until it also was demolished in 1996.Colour photograph which shows a tree-lined road. The community hall, originally a shearing shed, was donated to the RSL in the 1950's. Moved from Bill Lewers property 'Hoyles Creek' to Clyde St, Linton. When the RSL closed in 1982 the hall was bought by Grenville Shire council for use as a community hall. The hall was demolished in December 1996 when the Multi Purpose Hall at Linton Rec. The rear section, sticking out, was added to provide a kitchen. This was used by many groups that used the hall including CWA and CWA Night Owls, Garden Club, Progress Association, ANA, Playgroup, Historical Society, Back-to-Linton.2 of 7 colour photographs.
