These eight girls all grew up in Rutherglen. From L to R: Sarah (mother of the donor Nelsa N Atkinson), Eliza (commonly called Tom), Kate, Alice, Florence, Jean, Vida, Grace Alice. They all went to the Rutherglen School where Sarah became a 'pupil teacher'.
