History of the post World War II Migrant Ship Fairsea. The Fairsea made several journeys to Australia under the International Refugee Organisation (IRO) from 1949 to 1951, carrying displaced persons affected by World War II. Postcard - full colour with serrated edge - Nu-color-Vue of Elizabeth Street with a SW6 or W6 northbound and a W2 heading towards the terminus with Flinders St Station in the background.
