The teacher and two boys are painting the rocks that have been arranged into the word Bulla on the hillside. In 1988 the students from Grades 4 -6 had a sleep-over at Bulla Primary School. The purpose of the sleep-over was to organise the children in construction sign from white painted rocks on the hillside overlooking the school. The sign was 'BULLA' and was clearly visible from the approaching road into the Bulla township.
