Spiros the Tailor was in fact Spyridon EMMANOUILIDIS, he was born in the northern region of Greece in 1938 and travelled to Australia arriving in Melbourne in March 1963. Spiros and his wife Ifegenia operated his tailoring business as a sole trader from the front room of his residence at 92 Bridge Street, Port Melbourne from 1963 until (approx) 2016.
