A document outlining the history of the Lawlor Family who lived in Buxton. William and Sarah Lawlor moved from St. Hubert's in Coldstream, to The Oakes opposite St. Thomas Church in Buxton in 1904, when William was in his early 70s. The family farmed there for about 20 years. William could not read or write and his name is variously spelt Lawlor, Lawler and Lalor.
