Belonged to Captain Matheson, father of donor. Family owned 'Strathdon'.A property they purchased when he and Mary McLaren were married. The property was named after a ship he served on.Soft black leather oval shaped case with strap at top. Lined with dark blue cotton and small leather pocket inside. Five detachable white collars, leather travelling tag and leather sewing kit inside. Sewing kit contains sewing cotton, scissors, buttons, wool, safety pins and name tags.
