The man on the left of the photograph (in shirt sleeves and wearing apron) is identified as James Nicol, who ran the Linton bakery. The other man (wearing jacket and vest) is Thomas Mardling Wise, and the boys in the photograph are thought to be two of his sons.Black and white copy of original photograph which shows the drapery store in Sussex Street, Linton which was owned by Thomas Mardling Wise. A section of the Linton bakery can be seen on the left of the photograph. Two men and two boys are standing in front of the drapery store. They are all wearing hats of different types. The man on the left of the photograph is wearing a tradesman's apron.
