Early in 1941 Clyde was transferred to the support column of the 9th Division, taking the rank of Driver. After service in the Middle East his unit served in New Guinea and the Islands. These photographs are of stock images, falling into two main groups - low quality, retouched images of the battlefield and harbour, and high quality images of various buildings in Tobruk.
