Pamphlet, folded to DL size, printed on full gloss paper titled "Toorak Road Tram Terminus Improvement Works", dated Nov. 2006 and part of the "Think Tram" project outlining the redevelopment proposals of the Toorak Road terminus. Shows the track plan and proposed stop, along with the curve into Glenferrie Road. Gives details of the proposal and consultative meetings. Gives details of the VicRoads think tram project contacts. Two copies held. The proposal did not proceed. Another proposal was prepared for Feb. 2015 and was not well received by the City of Stonington. See the local Leader dated 19/2/2015. Digital image of MMTB No. 133 at the Burwood terminus, Toorak Road (was Norwood Road), mid to late 1930's. Tram has the destination of "Melbourne" On the corner is T. E. Turner Chemist shop. Also a shop advertising the Melbourne Herald. It would appear from the insulators in the overhead, that the line has been duplicated to the terminus (1934 - Melbourne Timeline history book). Memorandum - 3 quarto ruled sheets + part of a former poster with a cover note, dated 20/10/1921.   Written in ink to Mr. J. W. Duncan General Superintendent by William Pollock Acting Supt. about the issues at the Toorak Road Engine House regarding poor coke, recording the times of the fireman and trimmer, and problems in keeping up the power required due to the high percentage of breeze.  Looks at the use of staff to fire and maintain supplies.
