This pair of Lorgnette spectacles belonged to Nina Ayers (nee Casement) 1891-1972. She lived with her aunt, Blanche Casement (nee Balnarry) as a child after her mother died when Nina was seven. Her aunt would often take Nina to the theatre where these spectacles may have been used.
