Photo shows tram No. 12 reversing at the corner of Sturt and Lydiard Streets, Ballarat, with the Post Office in the background. Crowds can be seen in Sturt St waiting for the Queen's Royal Progress to pass. There are three policemen or officials behind the tram. Tram has the destination of Sebastopol. Saturday 6 March 1954. Yields information the model tram used during the second world war and some of the people involved in fund raising in BallaratReproduction of c1944 photograph of Ballarat's Most Popular Conductress Competition to raise funds for the Red Cross Prisoner of War fund. Photo features a model tram, No. 41, known as the Treasure Tram with a group of boys and men group at the rear of the tram. Boys are dressed in army or sailors uniforms. Men dressed in army uniform and one SEC conductor with conductors bag around shoulder. From original of another reproduction believed to be held by the Ballarat Historical Society.
