These photographs are part of a series of b/w photos produced and marketed as postcards by Helena Warren. Mrs Warren, of Newmerella, Orbost was a well known photographer and local press correspondent during 1900s-1950s. She took many photos of local people, soldiers going to war, and of local events. Some of these photos in the pumpkin series appear to have been creatively manipulated.
