Cream came in bottles bought at the local store or at a large city store on a shopping expedition. The shape of the bottles changed as did the stopper used to seal it. Used in orchards by Harry Shaw (Orchardist in Springvale Rd, Glen Waverley near cnr Highbury Road) Orchard was sold in 1950. Later used on poultry farm in Forest Hills.Body of scales: brass plate inscribed - Salter Pocket Balance, made in England. No.3. To weigh 50LB. Slide measure 0 to 50. In 1985, Members of the Hawthorn/Camberwell Self-Help Group celebrated the group's 10th Birthday. A slightly cropped version of this photo appears on page 8 of the No 37, August 1985 issue of the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria's quarterly newsletter, News Review.
