In 1893 he married Mary Elizabeth Tozer and they had the following children:- Henry John 1894-1956; Gertrude Mary 1896-1972; Joseph Alexander (Alec) 1897-1918; Arthur Leonard 1899- ;Samson George 1900-1900; Evie Eileen 1901- ; Mary Elizabeth 1903-1994. MAry Elizabeth Snr died 15/5/1903 leaving Joseph with 7 very young children. In 1906 he remarried to Clara Horell (1872-1948) They went on to have five more children and Clara became mother to them all. Jooseph and Clara had Minnie 1906-1973; Flora 1908- ;William Thomas 1909- ; Clara Hilda 1912-1985 and Jean 1914-1920.Copy of a black and white photo of J. Cock, Family Butcher Shop.
