"W Company" (Whiskey Company) refers to a rotating rifle company from the Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment (RNZIR) who served in South Vietnam as part of the ANZAC Battalion alongside Australian forces between 1967 and 1972. The company was known for its jungle patrols and stealth ambushes. This item was donated by Pte Reihana Patrick Nuku, New Zealand Service no. 42903, W1 unit 575, who was wounded by a booby trap on 10 May 1968. Flag with left hand half navy blue and the right hand olive green. A gold crown with a maroon background is in the centre. A wing of white feathers fan to the left of a white kiwi and a sprig of gold flowers fans the kiwi on the right side.
