She is probably Edith Mary, daughter of Charles Arthur John (Jack) Dollman and Mary Ellen Mason, born 1903. She is probably about 10 years old, so taken c1913. This is an example of 'trick' photography and came from Whitney Bros Electric Studios, Bourke St., Melbourne. Part of the Dollman Collection.

The photo is Douglas Niven Dean VX32652 2nd AIF, enlisted 15/7/1940, age 23 years, posted 7th Div A.A.S.Corp, served in siege of Tobruk, Middle East, New Guinea and Borneo, discharged on 7.12.1945. The man on the LHS of the photograph is Nikos Kandiliotis (Liarokapis), the other unknown. Nick and his brothers, Clementine, Jim (Dimitri) and Orpheus were some of the many young Ithacan men who migrated to Melbourne in the 1920s and 1930s.
