Research is currently being undertaken on this maritime painting.Painting behind glass, depicting P & O ship WILLIAM FAWCETT. Gold painted frame, gold matte. Signed N. P. Wilkinson ("on" at end of signature is obscured by matte). Inscriptions on back paper of frame. Signature on bottom right "N.P. WILKINSO - - " is partly obscured by the gold matte that covers the last letters "ON". (is artist Norman Wilkinson?)
