This work examines windowalls and Stegbar Windowalls in Robin Boyd's architectural practice. The first windowalls were designed by Robin Boyd in the late 1930s. This extension table was used as the dining table in the Boyd's Camberwell home. The legs were cut to create a coffee table when it was moved to the Walsh Street house. It was placed along the west facing windowall in the study in Children's Pavilion. Mandie, Penleigh and Suzy Boyd used to watch televison on the set placed on this coffee table.Timber table (expandable).
