He served in Vietnam with 7th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment from April 1967 to March 1968 and Australian Army Training Team Vietnam (AATTV) from October 1969 to August 1970.Various Documents Memorabilia of WO2 (Temp) George MacLauchlan Logan. It contains a certificate to George Logan from the General Staff of the ARVN School of the Republic of Vietnam for The Medal of Gallantry, A copy of the Award Proposal and there is a note attached saying "an NVA medal taken from an NVA soldier (KIA) by 2nd Coy, 4th Bn, 1st ARVN Regt during Op Lam Son Feb 70.
