Mayor, Cr. Russell Crawford handing over the keys for an ex-Council truck to Workpool supervisor, Mr Fergal Harte. The small tip-truck, no longer required by Council, was donated to The Barn for its Workpool projects. In 1978 members of the Box Hill Baptist Church formed The Barn Unemployment Support Centre focusing on youth unemployment.
