It is hoped that this project will cause all Australians to stop and think about those who served their nation at a time of crisis - both at home and on the battlefield.A dark green cloth hardcover titled in gold lettering, Their Sacrifice: Australia Remembers 1945 - 1995.The front cover has a gold outlined circular sticker in the middle, with Australia Remembers, surrounding a sepia photograph of a man embracing his family of wife and two children, the boy who is wearing an army slouch hat. Underneath this is a banner with 1945 - 1995 on a banner. This sticker is glued inside a stamped outline on the green cover. At the bottom of the cover is stamped in gold lettering - Adelaide Bank with four outlines of mountains. Inside the end papers have a green, red and purple coloured marbled effect. The title page has the same circular photograph and lettering, with the author Rob Linn and publishing details below. There are Foreword, Acknowledgements, Contents, End Notes, Appendices, Bibliography & Chronology and Index pages. Inside the back end paper is the Australia Remembers photograph.
