The State Electricity Commission of Victoria built several hydro power stations from 1928-1981. This book names each - up to 1975 - with a summary and explanation.The State Electricity Commission of Victoria built the Kiewa Hydro Electric Scheme which included the construction of Bogong Power Station, McKay Creek Power Station and West Kiewa Power Station. Set of 8 black and white photographs of the SEC Ballarat track welding truck, Reg. No. 119 341. Truck is a British Bedford truck, model WHG, built by GMH Melbourne between 1932 and 1934. Has a fabric roof, chassis fitted with a tray top body, side tool box, metal frame and covered with canvas, fitted out with a motor generator set, welding equipment and oxy acetylene bottles.
