Her father Simcha Myer Baevski, was born in present day Belarus and began his retail dynasty with his brother Elcon Myer, establishing a small drapery shop in Bendigo and growing the business in the subsequent years to Myer Ltd 1925.Hand shovel currently in use for ceremonial plantings and sod turnings by the City.
