Clipping from The Courier, Ballarat, Monday, 23/8/1971 (corrected date), of two items in the paper about the closure of the trams in Victoria St. The main item written by a staff reporter recalls the days of travelling regularly on the tram when a student going to and from school, Saturday travelling and as a means of transport.
